Blue bird college It is a multi - racial , Christian, English medium and independent school. It was found in 2015 by volunteering in assisting children who were accademically challenged in English Home Language reading and Maths . The number of learners seeking remedial drilling started from 3 kids to 42 in 3 consecutive months .Children started having computer lessons as well from 3 years. Parents whose kids were benefiting pushed for a formal system of school . In 2017 on the 11th of January the formal system opened with 5 children with 2 teachers In the 2nd year kids were 60 .
FOUNDERS
The school was found by Pastor Mrs Concillia Matanda with the strong unwavering support of her husband Maurice Sydney Matanda( Director ). By then the couple had 15 and 25 consecutive experience in both teaching and management skills, Both experts (the couple ) has interest in the spiritual; psychological; emotional and social growth of kids.
DEVELOPMENTS
In the short period from birth the school has a high reading rate where kids start reading from 3years old . Blue Bird has so far scooped 2 academic awards in Maths and English Home Language whilst competing with other independent schools in a cluster of 7 private schools as well sporting .In three years the school is at an enrolment of 178 kids from 5 in 2017 .
